This mixed-level class is a blend of a few different styles of yoga. You’ll generally find Katonah-style practices with some pranayama often inspired by Kundalini. It is a strong practice peppered with more gentle openings to create balance and fluidity. We work to become more skillful in our asana, focusing on safe alignment, orienting our bodies by keeping the architecture sound. With that comes better awareness of breath, prana, and how to allow the torso to become more spacious and open from the support of the base. The practice is great to increase strength, agility, and grace, not only in our bodies but also in our minds/thoughts and even the way we breathe.
